HATS HERE HATS THERE

Yes,still in the fashion high tea mood..
two things will be required of you on this one, a pair of good sunglasses,and a hat..ideally,that's the look you want to have at the end of the day..

 

Here are some for the hats that have made it to the list of my must have hats...

At a tea 'party' Wide-brim hats are the normalcy.The brim of the hat should be wider than you're usual Queen Elizabeth hats.something outstanding.

 For those of you who've attended concour d'elegance you've seen women walk in with such 'big hats'..well those are the ones we are talking about here.alternatively,there are smaller hats,that cover nothing much but have an outstanding feature,it could be a feather hat,or something with a Small side Vail on it..

 That being said,if you have a simple plain hat,then you can spice it up by adding :

   1. a flower,we have quite a number of those in this town 'Nairobi' big ones,small ones,of all shades,shapes and colors..(sounds like an add for homes for imaginary friends)

    2. One miniature fake bird,for the feathers of course...
   3. One yard of medium or wide ribbon,to either make a large bow on your hat or go round your hat,give it a little color.If you have a black hat,then get a ribbon that matches your outfit to complete your look

before i leave,something little about the dress that you'll wear..yes you're expected to wear a dress my ladies,its tea...not a beer..
A. The dress can range in color and style, but shouldn't be any shorter than knee-length.It should not show too much cleavage or be too tight.You want to project class,nothing below that.
 B. Bright colors usually work best,dare to be a flower i say.
C. Also avoid black..this sun,i doubt you'll make it past 2:30pm' Nairobi kuna solar sana - Sauti sol ' should not be your theme song on this day  lol
