Japanese fashion designer Junya Watanabe Spring 2009 collection was a mix of African and denim pieces. The head wraps which stole the show had sheaths of flowers and leaves of imposing, towering height.
Watanabe is known to have an interest in Africa, its prints and patterns.The designer matches his clothes with faded denim, dresses and tops of bright, cheerful colors and motifs reminiscent of the African continent.
