Way back in the early 90s i think (i was young) i had an amazing pair of blue tights.my mum thought i was crazy! who wears that?well i did.Don't ask me where they are now, they served their purpose.
The same tights have again resurfaced in more daring colors neon pink, yellow.Have a look at some of these tights..
One great designer who's made tights look awesome and worth wearing is House of Holland.here are some of what is available.
So as i quench my thirst for tights (i know i have great legs i don't need tights but i like hiding them sometimes, too much awesomeness) i want you to also have fun..don't do anything crazy unless you're going clubbing, anything neon isn't as hot during the day. Ladies are definitely having their fun with them.
When deciding what color you're going to don your lower half with, Pick deep shades in season-appropriate colors. Deep reds, purples, browns, grays and black are your top of the list for the cold months, and brighter more fun shades such as turquoise and magenta work better for the warmer months.
and that is how to rock tights..Every day is tights day.make this little colorful babies work for you.
When it comes to picking the shoes to wear, chunky shoes work.Others include sling backs with a thick heel, platform high-heels, and thick-strapped sandals( read gladiators sandals...maybe?mmhhh ).Also open toes shoes have their little magic on tights. Again with our precious jelly shoes peeking from every shop,it doesn't hurt to try out something when you're in the office or want a more relaxed feel, weekends, fun with the girls, out shopping kind of thing.
(I love the Grey here, its so me.And for the edgy persons well the threaded black one is something to add to your collection.)
Tights will definitely go with almost anything, short skirts, shorts, dress tops...pretty much anything, the good thing about fashion sometimes,is that you're allowed to invent your own trend...just have someone's opinion first before you come out looking like you're going for a 'before' and 'after' photo shoot.
cheers,
schazie
