trench coats

     For the past few weeks, I've been walking around the city repeating the same mantra: "Why is it so cold? July is checking in and we all know what that translates to..cold,cold and more cold.this excites me in a very awkward way.its unusual to want a cold season so bad considering my weak chest,but i have this new trench coat that am dying to wear.its maroon and matches my prada heels.
 Trench coats are a common sight in the streets of Nairobi,especially now that the cold checked in earlier than expected.black ones,red ones,maroon ones,cashmere,cotton,wool,name it you'll see it.Am sure there people who have them but are not sure how and when to wear them.I'll give you a few pointers on how to so so we can see more men and women out there proud of their coats!!!

HOW TO WEAR ONE

For tall ladies/gentlemen: the longest of these coats is your utopia. Having long legs allows you  to wear longer cuts. cropped coats give you a - i had the money,they had the coat screw the size- look and it doesn't look good at all

for short ladies/gentlemen: avoid  lengthy coats; go for the cropped versions that will flatter your legs rather than emphasize on how short you are.A belted waist length trench is the best for you. Having the belt will bring out your waistline, and the shorter fabric length will give you more height.

for my pretty ladies,you can lengthen their legs by wearing a combination such as black tights and heeled ankle boots or front-block heels to show off your legs and for men, slim trousers or jeans makes your image stand out.


Create Your Own

  Take a look at more wearable coats before you venture down to buying a fancy  coat. While they may be very  cute and expressive,trust me on the expensive part by the way, these also aren’t wearable as often as you'd want.unless you do have a dry cleaning deal then  you're good to go.

A trench coat makes you look polished. And sometimes, that is the most valuable fashion quality of all.
If you are going to invest in this kind of coat, find one that's fitting, with a fabric that doesn't bulk up on you, there's no need of looking like a pumpkin when you're a little pretty ballerina stuck up in a coat.As go for one that has some detailing like buckles,a fancy button arrangement,the little details that make your coat-wearing experience something to,well brag about.
