Fashion is what you want it to be,you can wear your colors clashing from head to toe..but that is your statement. That is the best part,no one defines fashion for you, only you can...
I've been reading African Woman magazine(Kenyan edition) and the editor,Sylvia Owori talks about a time when she wore ripped jeans, and she was almost chased don't the street because of them...years later,we wear the same jeans crossing the town without worrying about it.I find that rather inspiring, daring to do/wear something different.
But on a different note,
As i was going through some of Sylvia's collections,i came a cross something i liked...‘fashion with a purpose’
The collection represents Uganda and the rich cotton that is grown there. It depicts fashion with an aspect of environmental friendliness from Uganda. Sylvia Owori's way of contributing to the development of the society.
An interesting aspect of the collection is the ‘paper beads’. They are made from colored paper by the rural women in Uganda. This empowers their lives, creating employment for these women, and hence reducing poverty in the country..

Do have an inspired week ahead...
