MICHELLE OBAMA LOVES COLOR TOO!!!

I love color.It doesn't matter how bright it is,if i love it,I'll wear it. For centuries, color has represented individual moods while also reflecting and expressing the broader cultural zeitgeist. ie the general trend of thought or feeling characteristic of a particular period of time.

 Here are a few colors and what they might stand for :
Red =  power,danger
Purple and its shades =royalty or sensuality
Orange = strength and endurance
Yellow = a beacon of light
Green=spring and renewal of life
Blue=Loyalty and trust ....the list is endless

 Color can be used to express everything from political stand (like in Kenya Orange is ODM while blue and white is PNU) to personal taste.
 That being said, First Lady Michelle Obama has become quite a trend setter with her choice of color.She's done everything from blue,to orange to pink and lots of yellow. 

   

               BLUE

Looking elegant in Indigo, my weakness for all shades purple has become quite obvious lately.from purple boots,to sweaters, nail polish, vitenges (read African print.) It has this  "feel good" effect.

INDIGO

 A cool violet accessorized with white,black, silver, gives a feminine and strong finish to the look.

VIOLET

 The orange reminds me of a collection by Jil Sander and Prada.Very vibrant color and eye popping.

ORANGE

 Peach,very clean,simple.

 Am not a fan of pink, I actually try to stay away from it,but once in a while I will wear it for that "girlie feel" its associated with..

PINK

 Here she is in red,the power color.

RED

 My favorite has to be yellow.Especially the one in the middle with the flower detail .Accessorizing with the belt on the third image makes it stand out even more.. Its very inspiring to see the First lady embrace color in such a way.

YELLOW

need i say more?

Borrow something  from Michelle Obama's bold rainbow closet if you may and i guarantee you wont be disappointed.
