suit up

This is my first post on men's wear..yeah don't ask i was in the mood, and one Barney Stinson kept doing this "suit up" moves in my head..

.So a while back i was having a little bit of an issue with men suiting up.well let me put it this way, most men don't put much thought into what they wear, its a suit,it covers me,its presentable, what do you want? well you can exclude all the metro sexual men, they pay attention to detail.

Here is what i want,if you have to suit up,make sure its a suit that fits you, don't look at it from a window display and go "i want this pack it" no.fit it..its advisable to have someone you trust with you(or just call me i don't mind helping out).
Be keen on what types of suit fit you,my advice especially to young men who are starting on suiting up,is to get a tailor-made suit..well several actually. This is because, unlike ready made suits,a tailored suit will fit you perfectly, because its made especially for you.Your shoulders will be perfect, length of the arms...ideally,You should ask for a V-shape, darted in at your sides, with shoulder pads that drop off where your shoulders end(read perfect)do pick a color that works for you,or go neutral,Grey, black, navy

Next is the pants, not baggy, they should fit just right.i mean nothing awkwardly tight.

short men.
1.you should be able to work with your suits to actually make you look taller (short women work with their shoes hence the 6 inch heels)
make sure you leave some cuff room to lengthen the look of your arms.
2.try not to wear a belt especially if you'll have your coat on..it shows continuity, where as a belt might create a break and emphasize on how short you are.
3.If he is short, a man’s lapel notches should sit higher up his chest, the longer lapel line emphasizing vertically.(lapel, see below)

 tall men
1.Finding suits that match your height is a little hard,so when you check into a tailors, please go straight for the "tailor made suits" docket without hesitation.
2.Ask for a two button jacket, they lie well on your body
3.unlike the short man.you don't need to show off your cuffs, despite them being fashionable
4.Work with light colors,Greys, colors that don't emphasize on you being tall
5.you should be able to wear your belt,to play down your height, also do horizontal stripped ties as opposed to any other strips.

plus size men
1.first you want to draw the attention away from your upper body,so add a pocket square to your suits
2.avoid detailed shirts,am talking stripped,pin stripped,plaid,whatever,stay away.plain shirts work perfectly for you
3.wear flat-front pants, they don't have pleats but will give you maxim am comfort ability.
4.suspenders are a great add for support.
(Danny crane Boston legal also suits up,not sure about when he's out of character so,lets work with this)

athletic body   (oohh someone say rugby persons)
1.your suits should fit well,go for low collar shirts, don't want to emphasize even more on your built torso
2.A two button jacket will work well with you, with just the right length of the lapel
3.a narrow cut trouser should also work perfectly for you

socks
1.They should be made of cotton, preferably
2.they should match the color of the trouser rather than the shoe.Go for toned down colors.nothing vicious like light brown unless your pants are of the same color.try match them as much as possible otherwise you'll end up looking like a clown in the street.
3.Have several pairs..am talking multiples if possible.around 20.the weather can be mean to your cloths unless you use a washing machine then you're safe..
for office, you don't have to always wear a suit, try work with other items like sweaters.

color
trust me to add some color to anything,i found this quite interesting, you if you're into colors, love experimenting, this is for you

I'll let Barney finish this blog for me:
