MAXI DRESSES

It's been very hot lately and the thought of even wearing too many clothes is dreary. I love the maxi dress because its light and sashays on my body allowing the breeze to permeate in my body,which is what we need in this hot weather.

Many of us think that we can look weird wearing the maxi dresses.Again and which is my mantra:-always know your body type to avoid disaster.

 

Petite women(those who are 5.4' or shorter): Wear V shaped dresses that will elongate you to look taller.A full length fitting dress that holds your curves will do.To avoid looking like you are in a sack, look for a nice belt to fit on the thinnest part of your waist.

Plus size women:- Halter maxi dresses with thicker straps will look awesome especially if you have a big bust.Neutral colors and medium or big prints would look awesome.To accessorize a nice belt at the thinnest part of your torso will add a great finish.Choose a dress that fits close to your body,its a no no for loose fitting ones.

 

  I know your wondering,so what shoes do I wear with the maxi dress?Simple, strappy sandals do the trick.A no no to boots or closed shoes.If you are going for a formal look add the height by wearing heels.For a casual outfit,go for flat sandals like the gladiators.
